Our adoption profile courses focus in 2 areas: understanding today’s generation of expectant parents and teaching you what to include in your profile and how best to communicate it.
Each course is available through the Internet whenever and wherever you are. You can access the video for up to 6 months and watch it as many times as you wish and you can download the other course materials and keep them forever.
Consulting Services
Most families show their adoption profile to family members, close friends, and their social worker, and most of the time they get nice, positive feedback. What you need, however, is a critical eye and direct, honest feedback from an experienced adoption professional (and adoptive parent). That’s what our Adoption Profile Feedback Service provides.
If you need more assistance, however, than what a one-time assessment can provide, then our Coaching & Graphic Design Service may be perfect for you. We will work with you in an iterative fashion to help you provide fantastic text and pictures and then we’ll use our graphic design expertise to put it all together in an attractive, print-ready PDF file.
Many adoptive families are putting their adoption profiles online, as well. This makes a lot of sense as more expectant parents learn about adoption and look for adoptive parents on the Internet. We offer the three types of adoption profile packages.
The adoption education courses in this package are available on-demand through the Internet. This means you can begin on your path to success soon after your purchase and the training is available whenever and wherever you are.
Our Teach Me Program also includes a small group conference call (fewer than 5 families at a time) led by the Founder of My Adoption Advisor, Hal Kaufman. These are 30-minute sessions where you can get answers to your questions and hear the answers to the questions that other families ask.
Help Me combines our Teach Me training that shows you what to do with specific, personalized feedback on your adoption profile to help you do it effectively. This will eliminate the stress and false starts.
In addition to the training from the Teach Me package, we will also work hand-in-hand with you to put it to work. We’ll provide one-to-one coaching services and graphic design expertise to help you create an authentic and beautiful adoption profile. We can also create a matching website to ensure that potential birth families that are online can easily find your profile and learn about your dreams.
